Aquarium

Aquarium | Jamie Long | Unofficial Fan Video from Sentimental on Vimeo.

Check out this new video single by Jamie Long and when you fall in love with the huge synths and catchy rhythms you should hop on over to itunes and buy it for yourself. One song, 99 cents, endless hours of that warm feeling you had as a young child playing in the woods.

Jamie Long in the Philippines

I can't remember if we have made any announcements about Jamie Long's debut Ep being released in the Philippines but it has finally happened!

Right now I have no information about how to order the Philippine release and I myself do not have a copy but I do know that this version of the release has been remastered and comes complete with 3 remixes of Years by The Sound of Arrows, Horse Shoes and Cut The Red Wire as well as a previously unreleased track called Aquarium.

I don't know if this version will ever be available online but I'll keep you posted if it does.

Sound Sculptures & Installations

I came across this video this morning and I couldn't help but be mesmerized for the entire length of the 10 min+ video. This is a compilation by a Swiss artist named Zimoun who creates sound sculptures, these tiny devices that when multiplied make amazing soundscapes that not only sound great but they look pretty awesome as well. If you start watching make sure you stick around until the end, my favorite part is more than half way through with a series of hatches being pulled open to reveil speakers playing a series of feild recordings...It's really stinkin' amazing...

Welcome to the new blog

Hey everybody.

I decided after the launch of the new site last week that in addition to the new sections that have been added to the main site I wanted to have a place to post new music, videos and articles that are not necessarily Plastiq related.

So here it is.

And as a little present for you, here is Mr. Sonnenberg doing what he does best.

These have been up on YouTube for a while but unless you look you probably missed them. Which is a shame considdering how great they are.
